For the past six years as four artists we have been fermenting a variety of congenial approaches to the desire of enacting and sharing our personal experiences as a creative operation. Obsession with the figure as a basic departure for artistic work has led to an obsession with creating a physical art environment for experiencing our own bodies within. Throughout the past couple of years the domestic spaces have blurred with the studio spaces as we’ve left a trail of art, derelict and moldy or intricately documented, in our wake. Whether you are engaging with a “touchable” in Jesse’s Mega Binxes or watching a translation of Ryan’s vision of a social future now, your position as a viewer has been intrinsically embedded in the conceptualization of the work because we’ve learned that… ”Living in Art with your friends can be fun?” Our work to transform the objexts and materials around us into an expressive experience has been a vaguely political act but more importantly has been an extension  of our heady enjoyment in each others imaginative creations. The work in this show “We’ve Got Tissues” should be viewed like a vin diagram with the overlapping content being a natural effect of our shared experiences, with all of the intimacy and drama of a really realistic theatrical put-on that is actually happening in real time.
