Empty Bowls at Southwest School

Every year the San Antonio Potter’s Guild holds a benefit for SAMMinistries called “Empty Bowls.” You pay $15, get to pick out a hand-made bowl, and get a bowl of soup donated by a local restaurant. A lot of the work is worth more than $15, so if you’ve got a good eye and a quick hand (it gets crowded early) you can pick up something nice. Get there early though — last year the good stuff was gone quick.
