Cruz Ortiz’ 4th annual is upon us this Saturday, July 26 (5-8 pm):

This event is an artist intervention. It is designed to create a model that encourages the rebuilding of urban decay. In this specific area of San Antonio stands a beautiful and proud community that refuses to die out or give in to hungry developers and drug dealers. At this year’s event we are inviting organizations whose mission is to provide solutions to the community’s needs. Of course, all of this will revolve around local artists and community folks coming up with crazy ground-breaking scientific prototypes. Each and every one of these pushcarts are symbols of change. So, put your good chanklas on, bring the suegra y los kids and plenty of water and some shade, and let the races begin!
