I hope Ben doesn’t mind me borrowing his trademark vs. trope, but I couldn’t resist posting these images. Levitate over them for deeper enlightenment.

Pocket trumpet master and frequent Ornette Coleman collaborator Don Cherry.

Magical TM devotee and 1970's teevee phenomenon Doug Henning.

Bonus levitation.
I watched him striding off on his overgrown legs after the girl. He caught her up and they walked side by side. I don’t think he said a word to her: it was like the end of a story except that before they turned out of my sight her hand was through his arm – which how a story usually begins. He was a very bad shot and a very bad judge of character, but he had a way with Westerns (a trick of tension) and with girls (I wouldn’t know what)
ODD: i was googling Doug Henning yesterday after a Family guy reference; he never gets much play in contemporary pop culture but twice in one week???
me & seth macfarlane – two guys with our fingers in the cerebellum of the american zeitgeist.
here’s my most recent ridiculous synchronicity: in the past 36 hours i have stumbled across three totally independent mentions (i wasn’t searching for them) of obscure minimalist composer charlemagne palestine. there’s even a weird personal twist on the story that i can’t tell you because your mind could explode.

my mind DID explode.
the director made the important point that it was never about the audience
even if i did create the poem, i don’t understand the riddle of your answer
