Reading: Writers Respond to Art
Tuesday, March 31, 6:30 pm
Cowden and Auditorium. Free.
Gemini Ink will present readings of original works by poet Jenny Browne, creative non-fiction writer Cary Clack, and playwright Vincent Toro. Each reading will be a unique response to artworks found in Ry Cooder/Vincent Valdez: El Chávez Ravine and John Hernandez: Zoe’s Room, two special exhibitions on display at SAMA from March 14 to August 2, 2009. The program will begin with a viewing of the special exhibitions in the Cowden Gallery, followed by readings in the Museum’s Auditorium.
