Dear Friend:
We cordially invite you to attend The Most unlikely of Places– the Hausmann Millworks’ INAUGURAL, open-house event on the evening of Friday, July 24th, 2009. The evening will feature a special exhibition and highlights the many creative minds that make San Antonio and the Mill their artistic home.
In no time at all, over eighteen artists– from emerging voices to highly-regarded names– have moved their studios to the Mill, bringing new life to the former wood-fabrication complex and its 43,000 square feet of space.
This momentous occasion, hosted by the Hausmanns, features a one-of-a-kind, on-site exhibition of unique, small-sized, and affordable works by resident and contributing artists. Its curators Rex Hausmann and Samuel Kho, who spend considerable time in art capitals such as Los Angeles and New York City, assert that it’s in The Most unlikely of Places where art most likely comes to life.
Featuring artists Tim Blonkvist, Rolando Briseno, Judith Cottrell , James Hetherington, Justin Parr, and other unlikely surprises.
