in Travis Park

Whether you’re a seasoned jazz aficionado, or someone who just wants to witness a solid jazz performance, Jazz’SAlive is the place to be in September. 

The San Antonio Parks Foundation & The City of San Antonio present Jazz’SAlive at Travis Park, Saturday and Sunday, September 19 and 20, 2009, from noon to 11 p.m, and noon to 10 p.m.

Jazz’SAlive is a FREE two-day festival featuring national, regional and local musicians.  The event features national recording Jazz artists, as well as regional and local Jazz favorites. Children’s activities will be featured both days from noon to 6 p.m. NO OUTSIDE COOLERS ALLOWED IN THE PARK.

ABA Autographed ballThe Starlight Salute to Jazz’SAlive Gala, featuring dinner, dancing and auction, will be held Friday, September 18, 2009 at the St. Anthony Hotel, 300 E. Travis. The Jazz’SAlive Sunday Champagne Brunch, with live Jazz will be held Sunday, September 20, 2009 at the St. Anthony Hotel in the Anacacho Room. The event is free, and follows the last performance on the main stage.
