Description

The artwork in “Burning Desire” draws strength from the collective voice of women who have been marginalized in society. This voice comes from the energy within– there all along, but buried like the ancient past, and longing to be free. They are inspired by iconic depictions of the Goddess in ancient cultures across Europe, the Middle east, India, and Egypt that revered women not only as life giving vessels, but also for their strength, wisdom, intuition and healing abilities.
