Description

As a Master Printer, Ron Adams collaborated with artists including Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, Judy Chicago, and John Biggers. His print, “Blackburn,” graced the catalog cover for the Kelley Collection of African American Art Exhibition at the McNay. He comes to San Antonio this January for his one person exhibition at the StoneMetal Press Printmaking Center Gallery.
Ron Adams will be present at the opening reception on Thursday, January 7th 6 to 9 p.m.
The public is invited for a free gallery talk by Adams on his fascinating career Sunday, January 10, at 2:00 p.m. This is an opportunity for those who missed Ron Adams in 2006 when he joined a panel at San Antonio Museum of Art with other StoneMetal Press exhibiting artists.
The exhibition continues through February 27, 2010.
