“Legs” by Natalie Kite will show at Salon Mijangos as part of “Something About You”

This Second Saturday (Sept 8th) the South Flores Arts Disctrict will host three photo exhibits. Richard Yanas is curating a group show of young artists from San Antonio and Houston, called “Something About You.” This exhibit explores the human figure in contemporary photography from a range of perspectives. Over at FL!GHT Gallery, Bryan DeLaGarza’s “Club Foot” is a series of photographs of the feet of club girls. Pedicured toes contrast with spilt beer and cigarette butts. Finally, David Blow uses digitally manipulated photography to explore the intersection of nature, technology, and theology at the One9Zero6 Gallery. The receptions run from 7-10 pm.
